After more than a year on the shelf with a shoulder injury, Hideo Itami is finally back in action. Not only is that good news for him, but it's great for fans of good wrestling - for more than a decade, Itami has been proving himself one of the sport's most exciting talents.

Itami is also a natural babyface, which means he would have great chemistry with the evil Chris Jericho. Y2J has been doing some of his best work in years since his recent heel turn, and his feuds with the likes of AJ Styles and Chris Jericho have produced great results.

With Itami, Jericho would likely need to get a little more physical, but that shouldn't be too hard for a guy who took his first thumbtack bump at age 45. Despite being an out-and-out good guy, Itami can also be particularly aggressive, which would help get fans behind him as he unloads his unique arsenal on the former Undisputed WWE Champion.

Undoubtedly, Itami would have to go over in the feud, but Jericho is great at making other stars look good. The result would be a new major player on either Raw or Smackdown.
