12 WWE Matches We Must See In The Next 12 Months
10. Seth Rollins Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
There are no undercard or developmental stars in WWE who are as assured of success as Shinsuke Nakamura. It's not a question of if he'll come to the main roster, get hugely popular, and start headlining shows - the only unpredictable factor is when WWE will start the process.
Within a year, it's very easy to imagine Nakamura taking on the main roster's top talent (he's already faced Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho at Tokyo house shows) and holding his own. Dream matches with the likes of John Cena and AJ Styles are tantalizing, but there's perhaps no more attractive opponent for "The King of Strong Style" than Seth Rollins.
Rollins is one of the best talents in wrestling, so in many ways, there's not much more science behind the match than simply booking the best versus the best. At the same time, though, Rollins's attitude would make him an interesting dance partner for the ultra-charismatic Nakamura. It's not hard to imagine the weaselly former WWE Champion bristling at Nakamura's antics or whining about his unorthodox moveset.
Nakamura would set him straight, though. And then, we'd get an amazing match.
