12 WWE Raw 25 Impulse Reactions

7. Peepulation Control

Triple H Revival
WWE

One of a tiny list of surprises on the show, Christian emerged sans entrance to present an unannounced edition of The Peep Show with Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan. It was the best segment of the broadcast.

Stepping out from the lofty shadows of legends elsewhere on the show (including his own storyline Father), Jordan was in rare form as the heel with no idea the fans are on to him. Blithely and brilliantly repeating 'my dad' whilst trying to deliver his intentionally insincere dialogue, the former American Alpha member has at long last found his voice. That he's upped it an octave to further annoy is another inspired character choice.

Rollins too, benefits from having a douchebag idiot for a partner. Guilty of over-reacting initially, he's since refined his performances to more credibly respond to the goon he's found himself saddled with, allowing equally believable contrition when he accidentally struck him with a flying knee as verbals with The Bar turned physical.

With so many moving parts in the story and four ultra-talented competitors, Sunday's Royal Rumble clash has the potential to deliver huge, exactly as it did here. The excitement provided by today's talent stood in stark contrast to the nonsense elsewhere on the broadcast.
