12 WWE Stars Who Got Lost In The Mix

6. Vance Archer (2009-2010)

After six years, former TNA star Lance Hoyt leaped into WWE with dreams of glory. Tall & strong, Vance Archer's television debut was squashing jobbers on ECW TV starting in November 2009. It was the dying days of ECW and he entered into feuds with midcarders Tommy Dreamer and Shelton Benjamin. He re-emerged a few months later as a tag partner for Curt Hawkins ("The Gatecrashers") competing on Smackdown and Superstars. As with many aimless talents, initial good fortunes led to a string of losses culminating in being treated as simple handicap cannon fodder for real stars such as Big Show. Archer was released in November 2010 and has since found as a regular foreign talent in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
