12 WWE Superstars Who Weren’t Drafted (And Why)

2. Alexa Bliss

You may have noticed a trend throughout this article when it comes to injured/benched WWE stars; the most important thing is that they're well, they take care of their health, and they return when they feel able to. The days of wrestlers rushing back in pain because they don't want to miss a booking should be well and truly over.

Besides, Alexa Bliss' issues went beyond a rudimentary wrestling injury. She's been undergoing treatment for skin cancer, and has been very upfront and honest with fans about the whole thing. Remarkably, there are now reports doing the rounds that Alexa is expected back on TV imminently.

It'll be great to have her back.

WWE couldn't include Bliss in the 2023 Draft though, 'cause they likely don't have a concrete date for her return just yet. It'd be foolish to put pressure on her after a distressing ordeal like the one she's just gone through, so patience is key.
