XXX was formed as part of a larger stable called S.E.X. (Sports-Entertainment Xtreme, because Vince Russo). They won their first tag titles in 2003 from America's Most Wanted, then had the titles stripped a week later after their very first defense ended in a double pin. They also found time to win the title via DQ, which was a thing that could happen in TNA at the time.
Although their run remains mostly a cluster, it did end with an indisputably great cage match against AMW.
