13 DVDs WWE Are Planning For 2019

10. Sgt. Slaughter

Piper Unreleased Copy
WWE

It's only fitting WWE should release a DVD celebrating the life of the late, great Sergeant Slaughter, who sadly passed away to the complete surprise of the man himself during the Greatest Royal Rumble. Given how closely associated with the company Slaughter has remained since hanging up his campaign hat, it's a little peculiar this hasn't been released already.

Expect any such anthology to focus heavily on his babyface run in the early-'80s, and swiftly gloss over the time he became an Iraqi sympathiser during the Gulf War. DX will appear in a talking head segment wearing visors with window wipers. It'll be hilarious.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
