13 Injured WWE Stars (And When They're Set To Return)

The Shield's reunion has been rife with misfortune.

It started when a virus-stricken Roman Reigns was prevented from competing with the group at TLC 2017, though 'The Big Dog' returned just a few weeks later. Unfortunately, his stablemate won't be so lucky. A triceps injury incurred on December 20th will keep Dean Ambrose sidelined for nine months (according to WWE.com), meaning we won't see 'The Lunatic Fringe' under late summer at the earliest.

At least he'll have a readymade feud to jump into upon returning, though: WWE were quick to turn the injury into a storyline, with Samoa Joe inflicting the damage.

Estimated Return: August/September.
