The former Divas Champion suffered an impossibly cruel twist of fate this weekend, when it was announced that her days as an in-ring competitor were likely over. Injured following a botched spot on a December 28th house show, Paige has been medically disqualified from competing, and will now presumably be used in a non-wrestling role going forward.

Neither the company nor Paige herself has acknowledged the apparent retirement, though she was pulled from the upcoming women's Royal Rumble. If the reports are true - and all evidence suggests they are - then it's an impossibly tragic situation, particularly given Paige's tumultuous 18 months prior to returning in November.

Estimated Return: Career likely over.
