There's no such thing as a 'good' injury, but Big Cass' ongoing absence may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. His heel run was a complete disaster, and with the seven-footer currently in the midst of a nine-month recovery process, WWE effectively have the opportunity to rip his character up and start again.

Cass suffered a torn ACL while working Enzo Amore on August 21st. He's currently rehabbing at the Performance Center, but isn't expected to mount a full comeback until WrestleMania weekend at the absolute earliest, though late spring remains a more realistic target.

Estimated Return: May/June.
