10. The Revival Vs. The Usos - RAW Tag Team Title Match

This took a while to click into the gear WWE fans dreamed of well before the programme became a reality. Combined with a spent crowd - that opener was executed perfectly on its terms, but the sequencing hurt the heat for the remainder of the show - this wasn't too dissimilar to the underwhelming Super ShowDown match in the opening half.

Good character work bubbled underneath that basic start; the Usos pelted Dash and Dawson with strikes, out-performing the Revival at their own smash mouth style, necessitating the heat spot after the first stereo suicide dive cutoff spot failed. Scott Dawson slid across the ring to isolate Jimmy in a manner much more befitting a pro wrestler; when he last did that, a topical pain reliever burned a hole through his gooch. This match effectively banished those awful memories, but the main roster adaptation of their old heel artifice just isn't as good.

On NXT, they burst behind the ring to deceive their opponents; here, Dawson feigned semi-consciousness to con the ref. Not not entertaining, but not the same breathless update on the Brain Busters formula.

These shenanigans forced the Usos into the sky, informing the excitement and the drama of the finish, but this was below NXT and the best of the Usos' work with the New Day in 2017.
