13 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Sept 27)

1. Insanely Epic Dropkick

The insanity is strong in the top spot of the week. Chris Melendez has been battling against the mean Eric Young for a while, even losing his prosthetic leg in a match to Young along the way. This bout was a lumberjack match even though the men on outside were pretty much a non-factor.

The final move came from a top rope dropkick from Melendez. I get that there was supposed to be a ton of emotion in that move, but Young insanely sells it like he was shot in the chest or facing Hulk Hogan in SummerSlam 2005.

It's also insane to think that a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion would lose to a one-legged man. I don't have a problem with Melendez winning matches, but Young isn't just some schmuck mid- or lower-card performer. Let Melendez beat a BroMans, not Eric Young. Maybe I'm wrong on this issue and I can accept if I am, but this is a little too far in the wrong booking direction for me.

Chris Melendez won this match and won his prosthetic leg back as well. The wrestlers at ringside celebrated his win with him.
