13 Most Underused Talents In WWE Today

2. King Barrett

It€™s unfortunate when a moniker as historically prestigious as €˜King of the Ring€™ actually hinders a performer from achieving success. King Barrett won the tournament earlier this year, and since then he€™s been belittled and treated as nothing more than an oversight as a member of the WWE roster. The fact that he was thrown directly into a meaningless rivalry with R-Truth over the title of €˜King of the Ring€™, with Truth demeaning the once honourable career highlight with his own comedic impersonation as King What€™s Up. He was put into this pointless feud rather than a one-on-one rivalry for a mid-card championship or higher. Sure, he€™s been Intercontinental Champion more times than I can remember, but give the man something! The tournament is supposed to propel a man€™s career forward, not stop it dead in its tracks. Barrett€™s back now from some time away, and apparently he€™s interested in joining the tag division so hopefully he does similarly to Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, and revitalises his career by teaming up with someone like Sheamus.
