13 Most Underused Talents In WWE Today

11. Rusev

With the recent news of Rusev and Lana becoming engaged, and the fact that Rusev lost cleanly to Ryback in three minutes on Raw the day after the news broke, something tells me Rusev won€™t be in line for a push any time soon. The rumours, whether you choose to believe them or not, are that Vince McMahon wanted to break the real-life couple up for the sake of preserving kayfabe in the Rusev/Lana/Ziggler/Summer love-fest, and it goes without saying that the big news of their engagement didn€™t help that very much at all. Despite that pettiness, however, Rusev is a great talent; he€™s powerful, with an impressive move-set, and although his mic-skills are lacking, it only makes sense to put him back with Lana as an on-screen power couple once again. Rusev started the year off as a dominant, undefeated monster heel, and that momentum was completely derailed by John Cena, and the fact that this storyline completely took away his credibility. My recommendation would be to start from scratch, go back to Rusev being a barbaric Bulgarian, and have him run roughshod over WWE once again.
