13 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About WrestleMania 31

If we pretend they aren't there, will the pain be any less?

Wrestlemania is less than two weeks away, and WWE may be looking at one of the most underwhelming cards in the three-plus decades of the event. Of course, the problems with the show itself have minimal connection to the company's wrestlers, but moreso to the company's creative and business model wildly shifting and pulling the company away from being able to have one solid direction for success. Are there more than 13 things wrong with the build to Wrestlemania? Maybe. Are there thirteen absolutely, positively wrong things about what WWE's doing in building to the "Showcase of the Immortals" right now? Most definitely. Are there ways that these issues can be solved? Well, given that we're less than two weeks out, no. But, in addressing these issues for the future (and many of these are issues that will continue to be issues in the future if not solved now), WWE has tremendous potential to turn every single negative surrounding Wrestlemania's 31st edition into a positive by it's already much-ballyhooed 32nd. From getting legends over to getting over main eventers to shuffling talent in and out on the roster to maybe having a shorter card this year, WWE's in a unique position as a company. Instead of being a fun event, Wrestlemania could be one of the saddest days in quite some time in WWE history.
