Talk then turns to Harper's experiences working around the world and Jericho asks him about Japan. Luke says that he worked for Dragon Gate, and he calls it a blend of Japanese, Mexican and American styles, a style pioneered by men like Ultimo Dragon. He calls it a territory based around a more fast-paced high-flying style, noting that Neville and Ricochet worked in the promotion. He credits his time there with helping him adapt to a new style or working and says it's the reason he can do a lot of the stuff he can now. They brought him in and pushed him as a monster heel before eventually putting over Shingo Takagi at the end of his run. He says he loved Japan, the environment and the culture and that the only hard thing was being away from his wife.
