13 Things We Learned From Luke Harper On Talk Is Jericho

8. Not Enjoying England

In response to how he liked working in England, Luke says "Uhhh...I didn't like England. I just didn't like the country" before apologizing to England. He says he thinks he was in a different spot in life and wasn't ready to be away from home again and he wasn't happy there. He talks about the touring system there, saying that they worked nearly every day at the various holiday resorts. He says that there were people who were directing the crowds on how to respond such as when to boo and cheer. He was wrestling under the gimmick name of The Miami Bruiser, and he has no idea how promoter Brian Dixon came up with the persona. He continued to dress the same as he does now in a wife beater and jeans, they just added an American flag to his act and feels like Dixon may have been ribbing him.
