13 Things We Learned From Mick Foley On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast

12. His Famous Frugality

Steve reminisces about his time traveling up and down the roads with Mick Foley, staying in budget motels and calls him "one of the cheapest guys in the history of the business." He asks if he's still living that way and if it paid off for him all these years later.

Austin also asks if he was always so frugal even before he got in the business or if he was influenced by veterans on the importance of saving his money. Mick admits that things might have been different for him if he'd had people in his ear telling him to live extravagantly but that he had guys like Skandor Akbar and Bronco Lubich giving him good advice.

Mick says that he learned "it's not about what you make, it's what you save" and says he hopes that the NXT guys take a look at him and think "He did pretty well and he's wearing Sketchers and sweatpants at 50 years old."
