13 Things We Learned From Seth Rollins On Talk Is Jericho
9. Injuring John Cena
In response to Hart's criticism of Rollins being an unsafe worker, he says that anyone who has ever wrestled knows that accidents happen and by no means did he ever intend to break John Cena's nose. Anytime that he's been hurt by someone or he's hurt them they've always understood that's part of the game.
Seth doesn't know if he was just trying to stir the pot or what, and Chris says that one time he called him out for visibly calling spots during matches saying that Jericho looked like he was reciting the Gettysburg Address while wrestling. Back on the subject of Cena's nose, Chris said it was brutal and the worst broken nose he's ever seen.
Seth agrees and says that John will be the first to admit he's a clumsy guy and not a graceful individual, and a lot of times he'll throw his body into whatever his opponent is doing such as throwing punches or forearms.
It was one of those spots where they'd talked about it but it had never gone over it, and Seth says he could feel the crunch through the thickness of his kneepad and he thought "This is no good."
Rollins calls Cena a soldier and talks about how quickly he was back in the ring.
