While the Undertaker has previously discussed how his WrestleMania XXX match with Brock Lesnar left him with a concussion that required him to take a hospital stay, what hasn't been mentioned until now is that there was an initial belief that 'Taker had broken his neck in that bout.

The Phenom's last memory of that 6 April 2014 night is talking to his wife in the afternoon of the show, and from there he remembers waking up in hospital.

Alarmingly, those first medical scans said that the Deadman had suffered a broken neck.

"They take me to the hospital. They take me back, and my wife and Vince are there in the waiting room. They go, 'Alright, he's broken his neck. We're gonna give him another scan'. Obviously my wife was completely freaking out at this point. Come to find out, they'd read the scans wrong. It was an old break I never knew I had."

As for when this broken neck actually occurred, the Undertaker has zero idea - which also ties in with similar stories of someone like Roddy Piper likewise having no idea of having suffered a broken neck at some point in time.
