6. Eddie's Struggles
The two then move on to talking about Eddie Guerrero, discussing how they both miss him every day with Vickie being unable to believe it's been almost nine years since his passing. Chris presses Vickie to talk about her late husband's demons and struggles with his addictions, asking her how aware she was of the problems he had been having. She acknowledges that Eddie had his battles with alcohol and pills, but says that he was completely clean and sober for the final four years of his life. Unfortunately being off the substances made it even more difficult to deal with his litany of injuries that he started having to face in a natural way. She said he had to start seeing a doctor for his back, but that coming to work and performing for the fans was his medicine. She concedes that as his wife, she knew he wasn't well, but that the way he was taken was such a shock, stating that he had just ran three miles the night before, went to the gym and played with his girls while concealing the pain he was in.
