7. Big Cass Referencing Dave Meltzer

Big Cass has clearly been doing some promo work whilst sidelined. His invasion of Miz TV last week was a breath of fresh air, and he continued showing off his new verbals skills by running down Daniel Bryan (using the old little person gimmick) here.

He also made reference to Bryan's status as an internet darling.

It was easily missed, but Cass produced a slick line during his promo by saying the Backlash match against Bryan wouldn't be a "five star match", it'd be a "five second match". This had to be a Dave Meltzer/Wrestling Observer nod.

WWE rarely discuss star ratings for their matches at all, so it felt unique that Cass would even mention the idea that Daniel has built a reputation for working top-rated matches throughout his career. Either that or he was just pre-empting the Backlash bout as one Meltzer wouldn't give the five star treatment to.
