13 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown On FOX (Oct 4)

10. Hire Erin Andrews

FS1's Erin Andrews appeared early in the broadcast, interviewing The New Day ahead of Kofi Kingston's match with Brock Lesnar. She was a total breath of fresh air. While the segment's point wasn't to get her over, she's a slick, professional broadcaster with a bit of personality, and meshed well with Kingston, Woods, and Big E to elevate a relatively routine segment. Contrast with some of the more robotic speakers WWE have thrown into this role over the past few years.

The New Day had a little fun with the interview. They gyrated into the scene before Kingston put himself over as the big-time underdog he is, promising to leave Woods and E behind so that he could "climb the mountain alone." That didn't exactly work out for him in the end, but it followed Kofi's general presentation as champion.
