13 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 27)

Cody returned to AEW action for the first time since Full Gear last night, sporting a gnarly-looking scar over his left eye for his match with jobber Matt Knicks. That war wound looks great on him coming out of the bitter Chris Jericho feud.

The announcers debated whether or not Cody would actually live up to his promise to never fight for the AEW World Championship again, given that he's still number three in the rankings. Regardless, getting back on track was Cody's priority on Dynamite, and he ran throughout Knicks in a short, snappy exhibition workout, popping the crowd with his entrance and a few flashes of his signature offense, then tapping Knicks out with a Figure Four.

This was everything it needed to be and another W to pad Cody's rebounding record.
