Because it's apparently too reasonable for a heel to just win cleanly, EC3 beats Bobby Lashley via a bulls*** cheat victory. After Tyrus heads into the ring with a chair (which makes no sense anyway, as it would give EC3 an insta-DQ), Lashley spears him, causing the chair to fly out of his hands and towards EC3 (unless this was Tyrus' convoluted plan all along?). EC3 then tries to hit Lashley with it while referee Earl Hebner is kicking Tyrus out of the ring, but Lashley manages to stop him, at which point EC3 lands a field goal kick square in Lashley's nether-regions and nails him with the One Percenter for the cheap, frustrating finish. Because it would totally be out of place for the guy who's been undefeated for so long to just go over Lashley clean?
