13 WWE Divas Champions That Left The Company

5. Beth Phoenix

Beth had found her niche as ripped-and-fit anti-Diva, a legitimate athlete that overpowered the smiling centerfold models that populated a good portion of the Divas roster. She made a good foil for smaller opponents to try and overcome, and her extensive wrestling experience gave her the ability to work credibly with most opponents, regardless of their skill level. That 'experience' led to her wanting to leave WWE in October 2012, a month following her giving notice. Beth later made it clear that she had been wrestling for virtually her entire adult life, and needed to get out and experience everything she'd been missing out on. Most notably, she started a family, having a daughter in 2013 with Adam Copeland, aka WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
