Wrestling is metal. It's a simple, measurable fact of life. Whether it's down to the endless of array of diehard metalheads that have entered the squared circle over the years (hi Austin/Taker/Trips/Dolph/Bray/Baron/Becky-ah you get the picture) or the involvement of numerous heavy bands in big WWE events (see Bizkit, Kid Rock and Motörhead at Mania or, more recently, Bring Me The Horizon, Motionless In White and, er, Motörhead soundtracking NXT!), the connection between pro wrestling and heavy music just won't go away. Plus, y'know, have you seen the amount of metal-as-balls wrestlers that have turned up over the years? Look at Ultimate Warrior, L.O.D., Demolition, the Brothers Of Destruction, Mankind, Sting, The Brood, Finn Balor...hell, even Roman Reigns looks like he'd probably rather listen to Metallica than Kings Of Leon.
