14 Early WWE Predictions For WrestleMania 31

12. The Second Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale

There appears to be a tradition at WrestleMania where everyone employed by WWE gets involved in a multi-man elimination match, just for the sake of being a part of WrestleMania. Last year, Hulk Hogan introduced the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale, complete with giant trophy, which was rewarded to Cesaro. It would make sense for this to happen again so that the participants actually have something to fight for (assuming WWE got a replacement trophy after Jack Swagger demolished the first one), instead of it being a battle royale just for the sake of it. In terms of the people involved, it would probably feature a lot of Superstars who don€™t usually do much, as well as jobbers, mixed in with a few mid-carders desperate for direction. However, if the other matches on this list take place (and that€™s a big if), and many of the €˜usual€™ mid-carders are busy, then this match would be a great opportunity for the NXT talent to show off their skills to a larger audience. While this might be unlikely, it would be a nice surprise for the fans to see the NXT Stars on a bigger stage. As for who wins the match, it will probably be a €˜big man€™ instead of a smaller, more technically-sound wrestler. Assuming that The New Day is also involved in the pre-show, then it would make sense for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to challenge for (and possibly win) the Tag titles, while Big E can be the strong man who wins the Battle Royale, thus giving all three members of the New Day some much-needed credibility.
