1. Retiring With The Streak
This has to be the very biggest missed opportunity in The Undertaker's WWE career. Many observers believe that he should have retired with his WrestleMania undefeated streak intact. By having broken the streak with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, in a dismal match, WWE arguably tarnished what was one of the greatest pro wrestling narratives of all time. Imagine if Taker had been able to retire with the streak, imagine what would have been said about his legacy as a performer. Instead the entire streak legacy now comes with a massive asterisk. What a shame. However, on the other side of the argument, the old school Taker likely wanted to lose the streak. It is the time honoured tradition of the wrestling business to put over the next man on your way out. Streaks were made for breaking, and stars are there for making. But there can be little doubt, the match quality and opponent were all wrong on that fateful night in New Orleans.
