10. Merchandising And Marketing
It was always going to be tricky to market a deadman and produce merchandise, but WWF still could have done so much better with The Undertaker merchandise throughout the 90's. Things did get better with the range of cooler t shirts that came out in his 2000 to 2004 run, but there was never really that blow away piece of merchandise for Taker's first decade with the company. And that's ultimately one of the things that held him back from really being put over in the same way that McMahon invested title runs in Hart, Austin, Rock or Foley. Those guys were marketable and could sell products. Taker didn't ever quite have that opportunity to really be a marketed sensation.
