8. He Got His Break By Meeting Hulk Hogan At A Charity Basketball Game

Successful wrestlers reach the top of the business in various different ways, some working their way gradually up through the independent circuit, others benefitting from a hefty stroke of luck. Big Show's own story is clearly an example of the latter, as he tells Austin how he met Hulk Hogan (and Mr. T) at a charity basketball game. Show attempted to endear himself to Hogan by doing his (now famous) impersonation of the Hulkster - which apparently didn't work. Fortunately, Hulk "saw dollar signs" at the size and personality of the big man, and recommended him to Eric Bischoff.
