14 Ups & 0 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Oct 16)

13. Dream Over

Velveteen Dream
WWE

Heating up an already red hot start to the show, The Undisputed Era didn't even let Tommaso Ciampa leave the ring before rounding on him in a moment ultimately set up for Kyle O'Reilly to chuck a USB drive at Maura Ranallo before the first commercial. Fortunately it wasn't a link to f*cking thesaurus.com.

A great angle with a unique delivery, the device turned out to be full of footage of a beatdown on Velveteen Dream that had apparently taken place during Ciampa's return.

Led by Roderick Strong after his half-cocked humiliation last week, The Era were in vile form. Cole closed the piece with shots at both Ciampa and Finn Bálor, leaving open the possibility that the four may be willing to go to War(games) with this unlikely babyface alliance.
