14 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Mar 19)

The way WWE have booked their Women's Tag Team Championships since Elimination Chamber has left much to be desired, and it continued as champs Bayley and Sasha Banks strolled into SmackDown last night.

They were defeated by The IIconics. This might not be a huge deal in itself, but it is when the context is applied. Bayley and Banks were originally booked like passengers in a Divas Of Doom vs. Nia Jax/Tamina feud on Raw. Now, those two teams have both joined the title hunt, and they're taking losses on SmackDown to boot, with the endgame being a bland, uninspiring four-way 'Mania match.

WWE aren't doing Bayley and Banks justice here. They look like dorks, they aren't going to be featured prominently at WrestleMania, and as things stand, it looks like they're going to be locked in the p*ss break spot. Shame on WWE for letting their longstanding issues with booking men's tag wrestling creep into the women's division so quickly.
