14 Ups & 3 Downs From NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

Downs...

3. Why Did This Exist?

Wrestling-friendly rapper Mega Ran, who composed the G1 Supercard's "Going To The Garden" theme, walked out to perform the track after the Beautiful People's ill-received debut. It was an interlude that precisely nobody asked for or wanted, and it went down as such.

Ran's a talented, likable guy, but this didn't work. He walked down the ramp, claimed that his arrival meant the show had "really started," got himself booed, and kicked into the song. This prompted hometown boy Bully Ray's arrival to a monster reception. Minutes later, after much pleading from Ran, the former Dudley Boy struck the rapper, chased him off, and got ready for his advertised New York Street Fight.

A pointless segment to cap the G1 Supercard's least enjoyable run of content, this could've been trimmed to save valuable minutes on this marathon show.
