9. Sting - The Encounter

Sting was one of the many wrestlers to make his big screen debut in the WCW film Ready To Rumble. However, his biggest role to date arrived in the Christian film The Encounter, released in 2010. In the film, five strangers with nothing in common are forced to come together at a remote roadside eatery because of a road closure. They place their orders with the diner's omniscient owner, who seems to know everything about them. The owner then claims to be Jesus.... Sting plays Nick, a businessman and one of the main characters. This role would have been right up The Stinger's alley as he turned to religion when facing problems in his own life while wrestling for WCW. Despite this, the film almost completely bombed and received shocking reviews.
