15 Best Instrumental Entrance Themes In WWE History

6. Kurt Angle (Medal)

Originally used by The Patriot during his short run in WWE, Medal was later re-purposed for the debuting Olympic Hero Kurt Angle. Throughout the years the theme transformed, with it being used to convey a pompous arrogance in Angle’s early days in to an anthem of menacing confidence with added bass and heavier guitar when he transitioned in to his wrestling machine persona.

Throughout all iterations, the song evoked the Olympic spirit that Angle’s career was built upon, and managed to work perfectly for both his heel and face runs in the company. You simply can’t mention Angle’s theme without talking about the addition of the “You Suck” chants introduced during a feud with Edge, though many claim that the chant appeared naturally around the time of King of the Ring 2001 when a rowdy crowd began chanting it during an Angle promo.
