14. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Kota Ibushi (5* - NJPW, 2015)
Some fans have been left a little disappointed after watching Nakamura's WWE efforts - a trend that is unlikely to be bucked when he steps into the ring with Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam in two weeks time - but that's only because we know he is capable of so much more.
At Wrestle Kingdom 9, for example, The King of Strong Style defended his IWGP Intercontinental Championship in the event's second-last match (one which - in Meltzer's eyes, anyway - bettered the world title main event that followed by a quarter of a star).
For anyone who wants a glimpse of Nakamura at his best, this is the match to watch (and, yes, it did happen at the Tokyo Dome).
