We had guessed that Brie Bella going heel was a possible creative direction, but no one had guessed at The Big Show turning heel. When the big man rocked John Cena with the KO punch it was a genuine gasp moment. That resulted in Cena being eliminated from the main event match. It was a very dramatic turn and a big story of the heels getting the upperhand in the Team Cena vs Team Authority match. However, it got some criticism online for lacking logic. WWE did tell the story that Show was desperate for money and finally caved to helping The Authority. That makes some sense, as he's protecting himself. But why now? That bit made no sense. What's good is that Big Show is now a heel. As a babyface he was really stale, but as a bada** giant there's things that WWE can do with him. As for Brie, the logic really lacked in this one. WWE would argue that she turned because of what AJ did to Daniel Bryan a few years back. But after a month of Nikki being a b****, who can really buy Brie suddenly being friends with her again? Still, the Bella Twins work best as heels, so this works well for the long run.
