15 Biggest Losers In WWE SummerSlam History

7. Triple H (5 Losses)

Triple H SummerSlam 2012
WWE

Another icon of the industry, and another sufferer of five defeats at SummerSlam. Triple H hasn’t quite proved himself to be the King of Kings at WWE's long-running summer PPV.

In a similar situation to that of The Undertaker, The Game's first defeat at the PPV came against Mankind, and like the Deadman his following two losses were also in WWE title bouts: first in a Triple Threat with Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin (1999), and then in another three-way clash with Kurt Angle and the Rock (2000).

Add to those failures the outcome of 2002, when Shawn Michaels finished him off with a roll-up, and of course his submission to Brock Lesnar just a few years back in 2012, and you’ve got your quintet of Triple H losses.

And as if his path wasn’t already similar enough to that of The Phenom, the Game also has a number of wins worth mentioning—such as the Ladder Match with the Rock in 1997 and the Elimination Chamber bout in 2003. However, his record is slightly worse than ‘Taker’s, with eight wins versus then 'Taker's ten.

Get it together, Hunter!
