7. Evolution Give Mick Foley Vicious Beatdown - Raw 2/16/04

With their WrestleMania XX tag match coming up, Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton stood in the middle of the ring and called out his nemesis, Mick Foley. The Hardcore Legend was happy to oblige, coming down to the ring in his plaid shirt ready for a fight. Randy might have realized he got himself in over his head as Foley started clobbering on Orton before hitting him with a double underhook DDT. With Orton down Foley turned his attention to the ramp in time to see Randy's Evolution buddy, Ric Flair, trying to get the jump on him. Mighty Mick was able to fend off the pair as Batista joined the fray, with Orton taking advantage of the numbers game by nailing Foley with a low blow. That would be the last time in about a ten minute period that Mick would be on his feet, at least under his own power. It was a truly merciless showing by Evolution here as they continued to beat on Foley long after it was necessary. Punches, kicks, headbutts, stomps, and even spitting all leading to an RKO from Orton...and then going back to the violence. Long past the point of making the audience uncomfortable, Evolution would hit a Shield-esque triple power bomb, thankfully putting an end to the callous whooping.
