AKA: The Masterpiece

Chris Masters has kind of a depressing story. WWE hired him and put him on TV wayyyy before he was ready because of his crazy inflated steroid physique. They then fired him for using steroids, rehired him when he lost 50 pounds of muscle, made fun of him for being skinny ON THE AIR, then fired him again, despite the fact that he had actually gotten pretty good in the mean time.

It's a shame, too, because The Masterpiece was a pretty great character. He had an infuriatingly long entrance, including like a 20-second stretch of him just kneeling there with his fist on his chin while Micharlangelos David flashing across the TitanTron. Then he'd explode out from under a minature velvet cape. A velvet cape!

Between that and how good he was at full nelsons, how can you not dig the guy?
