The end of WrestleMania 31 truly felt like the dawn of a new era; that the company had turned somewhat of a corner, digging themselves out of the doldrums their booking had placed them in and launched them in the right direction. Then the Raw main event happened. WWE took all the goodwill they had built up over the past 6-ish hours of wrestling and stomped on it by trotting out a main event featuring Kane and Big Show at the behest of The Authority. And the crowd sh*t all over it.
