6. A Crappy Night For Stephanie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIauMCrAG8k One of the more prominent stories in early 2001 was the rivalry between Stephanie McMahon and Trish Stratus. Born of Stratus' illicit affair with Stephanie's father Vince, the issues between them made for one of the hottest and most intense programs in the sport. The blonde bombshell from Toronto took great pleasure in engaging Vince in public displays of affection, mostly because they irritated his daughter as much as they did. Like a snake being poked with a stick, it was only a matter of time before Stephanie would strike and that time came at the Royal Rumble, during the WWE title match between Triple H and Kurt Angle. During that bout, the tension between them reached a fever pitch, erupting into a catfight that was so bad Vince himself had to pull his daughter and mistress apart. Stephanie and Trish would spend the weeks leading into their big match at No Way Out attempting to one-up each other. On the February 22 episode of SmackDown, just six days before their much-anticipated showdown, Stephanie attempted to confront Trish in the bowels of the building. A black limousine was parked there and the windows were steamed up, indicating that the Toronto native may be busy with Vince. Stephanie pounded on the doors, tried pulling them open and screamed at the top of her lungs. Suddenly, Trish appeared, attacking Stephanie from behind and slamming her head-first into the vehicle. For some reason, a farm show had been set up in the same area and Trish saw an opportunity to add insult to injury. She tossed Stephanie into a large pile of hay, shoved her face-first into a pile of cow dung and finished her assault by covering her in what can best be described as liquid manure. With only 72 hours until they locked up in one of the marquee matches of the No Way Out show, Trish had delivered what would have been a knockout blow to any woman but Stephanie, who used the humiliating ordeal to fuel her at the pay-per-view.
