15 Funniest Moments Of Daniel Bryan's Career

He was the tag team champions, you know.

The last three years has seen so much angst over Daniel Bryan. There was his rise, burial, and seemingly unstoppable rise again to the top. There was his tragic forfeiture of first the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and then the Intercontinental Championship due to vague pronouncements of injury that we€™d have to wait months for details about. There was the wait for WWE to clear him to wrestle again, while he insisted that he€™d been cleared by independent specialists and was good to go. Earlier this month, we found that €˜good to go€™ didn€™t mean what we thought it did, as Daniel Bryan announced his retirement from in-ring competition due to complications from post-concussion syndrome and a brain lesion. The last couple of weeks have been filled with a whole lot of sadness, as fans - and the real life Bryan Danielson himself - began to adjust to the thought of a wrestling business without him. That being the case, let's cheer ourselves up by celebrating his unheralded gift for goofy, off the wall comedy here. After all, this is a man utterly unafraid to make a massive gurning idiot of himself on national television and all over the internet for future generations to gawp at. If we€™re going to celebrate his astonishing ability in the ring, his peerless connection with the fans and his heartwarmingly lovely personality, then we should celebrate those moments when he cheerfully made a total d*ck of himself for our entertainment.

Even the most mental of all the Muppets couldn€™t keep up with the Goat Faced Killer€™s Yes/No schtick. That€™s both worrying and completely awesome.
