9. Kurt Angle
By all accounts, Kurt Angle was unsuccessful in getting another run with WWE in 2015 when his contract was up with TNA. Kurt Angle was a mainstay in the WWE Attitude Era as well as what many have called the "Ruthless Agression Era", both very physical time periods. His long list of health issues and years of in-ring activity may have been viewed as too much a liability for WWE to take on. While that is a decision that can always be reversed, for now, the door on Kurt Angle's in-ring career with WWE seems to be closed, but that leaves another wide open. A return to WWE for induction into their Hall Of Fame would make perfect sense for whenever Angle decides he is done competing in the ring, wherever that may be. Kurt would seemingly make for a great trainer at the Performance Center and a headlining induction could serve as a catalyst to get him back into the company where he's most capable of making the biggest impact.
