15 Greatest Cults In Wrestling History

Leader: Kevin Sullivan
Members: Purple Haze, Mike Davis, Bob Roop, The Lock, Luna Vachon, Fallen Angel
Pocket-sized New Englander Kevin Sullivan began his career in Florida as the generically heelish Boston Battler, but soon hit upon a better idea: slather facepaint on some of the most 1970s people you have ever seen and start executing top wristlocks for Satan. It may look unbearably cheesy in hindsight, but 1970s' pop culture was positively ripe for this kind of occult exploitation. Sullivan became a top heel, battling the likes of Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham and striking fear into the hearts of Floridians everywhere.
Perhaps most memorably, Sullivan and his followers were responsible for transforming Luna Vachon from a timid young lady to a shrieking leather harpy, shaving her head while she screamed her signature Luna scream.
