https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfosfT8Ojbg Let's just presume that you don't know much more about Ronnie Garvin than the fact that he challenged for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in 1988 (and defeated Ric Flair for the gold), and was a mid-card babyface in the WWF by 1989. Well, if you watch this promo for ICW in 1980, Ron Garvin must be one helluva man in order to get this level of "freak out" out of Randy Savage. Savage still cuts promos in a manner similar to Dusty Rhodes here (but it's 1980...Dusty was THE MAN in 1980), but it's in literally watching Savage melt down on camera under the pressure of being the ICW Heavyweight Champion that's amazing. Ron Garvin was in some deep trouble, man. He had NO IDEA.
