Kevin Owens is a thick coward and an abuse victim in the same breath. Welcome to WWE 2018.

Heels with brains are in short supply at the moment, even including those that used to have half a brain. 'KO' was once a 'Prizefighter', a man whip-smart way beyond the narrow prism of WWE's rank-and-file, but he's been trapped by becoming one. Literally so - Braun Strowman locked him in a portaloo, beat him half to death inside a steel cage and flatly refused to stop harassing him despite that match ending with Owens' tumble from the metal structure through an announce table.

The old Owens would immediately employ Jinder Mahal or another unused Raw midcard heel to hoof him in the plums immediately after the bell rings so he can steal Braun's briefcase by disqualification. This version of him will do more of what's already not worked - run, hide, and get the sh*t kicked out of him. Not least because 'The Monster Among Men' will need the case for later.
