7. Riddle (c) Vs. Sheamus

Riddle might get battered in this, and will it be such a bad thing? Not just because the United States Champion doesn't feel like such a fun guy anymore, but because Sheamus has never been more engaging as the type of bruiser that batters guys just like Riddle.

Honestly, the only thing possibly more satisfying that 'The Celtic Warrior' giving 'The Original Bro' the old Daniel Bryan 18-second treatment (BRO! BRO! BRO-gue Kick) would be seven or eight forearm-throwing minutes that renders Riddle unable to pootle around on that f*cking scooter ever again.

In the kayfabe world of cr*p gags and brightly coloured birds rather than ugly reality of legal printouts on sticky label sheets, Riddle's done some objectively good stuff lately. His series with Mustafa Ali has lit up some otherwise-drab Raws in much the same way Sheamus' feud with Drew McIntyre did one month earlier. WWE isn't a meritocracy, but both have wrestled as though a spot on this card depended on it. It's likely they'll get to use the opportunity they've battled hard enough to earn.

Winner - Sheamus
