15 Huge WWE WrestleMania 38 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Seth Rollins Vs ???

Cody Rhodes
WWE/AEW

Much of the Seth Rollins WrestleMania storyline was the drizzling sh*ts.

Not to say he didn't put his back into the performance of attempting to get on the card at all costs, but it was the implication of how much he needed to be there that made the whole thing so fundamentally pathetic.

All until a fortnight before the 'Show Of Shows', when the biggest hints of all were dropped about exactly what kind of "nightmare" he was being forced to endure. The go-home show simplified the process entirely - Vince McMahon summoned him to the office to wonder aloud why Seth simply…didn’t…ask?

Absolute bullsh*t then, but he got his wish, with McMahon promising an opponent once Rollins is in the ring on Sunday.

It’s Cody.

It’s cool as f*ck and it’s Cody. All of this has a warped alternate timeline First Dance energy about it, but the two improbably moments will at least be comparable in terms of payoff. WWE have held off on the visual of the former Stardust returning to the stomping ground he left six long years ago.

Everything else is as superfluous as ‘The American Nightmare’s neck tattoo.

Winner - Cody Rhodes
